  Hazrat Umair {RA} never had any desires. On day he wanted to eat fish so he expressed 

his desires to his slave and Hazrat umair {RA}said yarka i want to eat fish today but the 

problem is that i have to go 8 miles to the river to get it and then 8 miles back. it's a lot of 

trouble for just a small desire.yarak said that he had been serving Hazrat umair {RA} for 

years, but he never seen him desire anything. so he decided to fulfll his mastee's wish 

he rode a horse to the river bought a basket of fish and returned before Asr prayer. 

when Hazrat umair {RA} came home yarka said "sir Allha has fulfilled our desire . 

I've brought fish."Hazrat umair {RA}got up and went to the hores patting it and 

checking its legs. He then lifted its ears and said yarka you ve washed the horse

But you forgot to clean bhind its ears. Hazrat umair {RA} then knelt down and 

said yarka i'm not a very pious person but i'm worried about the day of judgment. 

Ifthis horse complains to Allha that i made it travel 16 miles for my desire what i 

Say? yarka was moved to tears and said that he had never seen Hazart  umair {RA}

like this befor Hazrat umair {RA} told him to feed the horse extra food distribute

the fish among the poor people of medina askingg them to for his forgivenees.

The story shwos the humility and compassion of Hazart umair {RA} one of the

greatest leaders in Islamic History.
